History: Produced by the Austin Car Company LTD. The Somerset A-40 was only produced for Two years and was a popular stylish car in its day. Many were produced, but few good examples exist. There is an organization in England dedicated to the preservation of this and other "counties cars" as they call them. They have stockpiles of spare parts, produce a newsletter and are a good support network for Somerset owners.
