Ducati Motorcycle Superbike: 998S Team Ducati Infostrada as ridden by Troy Bayliss during 2002 WSB/World Superbike Championship
Here it is--a very rare and unique opportunity to own a very special piece of racing history. This is the Troy Bayliss Ducati Infostrada 2002 998-S special racing edition, made in only 400 individually numbered motorcycles. This motorcycle features the same color scheme, stock racing decals, sponsorship stickers, high performance Brembo brakes, exhaust, suspension and carbon fiber bodyword and accents as the original Ducati Infostrada Troy Bayliss rode in the 2002 World Superbike Season. From what i have been told, This bike also features Ohlins Forks and steering damper. When I saw this bike for the first time, I knew it was something very special and would be greatly appreciated by any Ducati and WSB racing enthusiast.
This motorcycle was offered in 2002-2003 in a very special, limited edition of only 400 individually numbered and autographed pieces. Each motorcycle features Troy Bayliss’ autograph on the top of the gas tank and an engraved, numbered commemorative brass plate bolted to the cycle. This example is #294/400.
This motorcycle has been very lightly ridden with the utmost care. This motorcycle has only 1173 original miles and I purchased this bike from its original owner. The title is 100% clean; the bike has never been dropped and has been meticulously maintained, detailed, and stored in a temperature controlled showroom/garage.This bike does not have so much as a scratch anywhere on it and the exhaust, engine, wheels, brakes, etc do not show any dirt, brake dust, grease or grime build-up. This bike is absolutely spotless and in showroom/new condition. From what I have been told, the original price of this motorcycle was around $23,000, the 400 bikes were distributed to dealers and collectors all over the world and the edition is sold out. Here is your chance to own a true racing machine and a collectible that will never be made available to the public again.
