What's your Job Quote?

Recently i was filling in an online quote with "churchill" and i mistakenly had put my freinds profession in as a Banker instead of Unemployed, the difference in the final quote differed well more than 100 pounds!
I can understand that it would be fraudulant to use a false name or type of licence or even an address in a "quiet" area, use of garage ect.
But would it be illegal to give a different job description?

I believe so, as any information you give you agree that it is true and correct, failure to do that, would result in a fraudulent claim.
