V5 Documents

Someone told me that the V5 documents have changed.

Does anyone know if that's right?

If so how are they different?

Do I have to get a new V5 for my car?

The V5 changed to V5C about a year ago.The V5C brings us in to line with the E.U. You should have had one when you taxed the car . If the car has been off the road you may still have a V5 although the car should have been on SORN. You will need to contact DVLA to sort it out.
