Just for a second the car will not go when you try to accelerate,
take your foot off the accelerator then back down then picks up fine.
Any ideas?

It get's worse and worse, It's a slipping clutch, and I was quoted £326 to get a new one, there's 125,000miles on mine so I don't think its worth paying to get fixed

326 is a rip off
i reckon you could get a clutch for around 120 and fit it yourself :)
