Been having a thumping sound, traced it to a loose o/s rear shock on the top
mounting eye.
Trouble is top bolt just keeps turning around, and won't tighten. I see
looking at the haynes manual the other side of the bolt has some form of
captive system, and it appears something is turning in that system, so the
bolt won't tighten.
I was toying with the idea of dropping the rear subframe to get at the other
side of the bolt. Anyone have any better ideas?
If I did have to drop the subframe would dropping one side be enough?
