had a broken spark plug (normal bollocks). fixed it with some plus gas and a tap from a hammer. cleared what i thought was all the crap from the chamber but after i started the car it sounded like a taxi. the pressure was gone in the 3 chamber. ht leads work and plugs are fine. the car was losing petrol the few weeks leading up to the spark change, as i was informed that the car was serviced a year ago and driven by a nice sweet old lady who has never done over 50. now i am going to investigate further by taking the cylinder head off. i believe my problem is a stuck value (i hope)
what do i need to know about this. will it need replacing ? cleaning ? what else should i look for ! is it worth my while as a first timer/ shall i give in and go to the garage like normal people?
