Hi, my mate has an 02 reg 147 lost oil pressure and knocked out the big end shells, he assumed it was oil pump failure so fitted a new pump and new shells,(crank appeared ok) started it up but no oil pressure, he primed the pump before fitting but the pump does not seem to be pumping at all, are there any alfa experts out there who may be able to shed some light on this problem, maybe experienced it before ? Any help appreciated. Ed.
