I had a similar problem with a Cavalier and could only buy a new barrel. You
will need the number off the barrel to get the same key otherwise you will
finish up with a different key for one lock. The cheaper option you could
try is if the passenger door is still the type with a lock then swap them
round as the passenger side lock hardly gets used.

Thanks for the reply.
Just phoned vauxhall and like you said only a complete barrel is availiable
@ £50.
Im gonna nip to the scrappers this morning and get a a few of the "numbered
plates" out of a pasenger side lock and try just putting those into my
barrel.
Will let you know how I get on.
