Bigger hammer??
Seriously, get a sledge hammer, and bray the living daylights out of the
drum, then put the wheel back on, and try the reversing thing again! (This
is assuming that you were going forward when the brakes locked?) If you are
thinking of cutting the drum off anyway, you lose nothing if the drum
shatters while hitting it, but you will be surprised how much punishment a
brake drum will take from a sledge hammer before it will shatter.
See if you can get to the adjuster mechanism through slots in the back of
the drum, and back the adjustment off a bit.
Are you sure its the brakes that have locked, and not the bearing seized?
