The beetle is a 1302s 1600 engine, runs on unleaded. 1971 in metallic blue (see photo attached), Interior wise it is very clean with the black finish dashboard, seats are not ripped and in good condition. There is a sony stereo (rad/cass).
18months ago we had a full brake overhall and fuel lines replaced. She receives regular oil changes approx every 3 months regardless of whether it is needed or mileage. Services every 6 months by BB Auto's in Leicester - It has just had the carb stripped and serviced ready for its new owner. It has never been welded and for the last MOT it only required track rod ends which were replaced. Comes complete with original Jack and also the very rare original owners manual. We have fitted an IMDU which helps stops the carb freezing in winter.
The alarm has been recently fitted by Toad and has an inbuilt immobiliser.
The car is used daily, unfortunetly I am going to be doing alot of motorway driving with my Job and although I would like to keep her, since insurance is less than £100 a year and she doesnt cost much to keep (tax exempt as well) I feel she will be better off with someone who will use her regularly - in her condition it would be a waste - sitting on the drive.
