That was an utterly *classic* speech. If only the Yanks could have had
the same mindset. Sad, however, that such an intensely humanitarian and
moral speech should have been delivered to accompany such an unjust and
immoral war.

degrees being given positions of command in the British Military. He
certainly didn't learn to speak like that in basic training.
