Couple of months ago someone here got a recommendation for some nice safe
and waterproof boots, that were available from FM. He replied a bit later
to say they'd kept his feet warm and dry.
Can anyone remember what make the boots were? I fancy some myself and live
not far....

Daytonas, and they are available from GLF Accessories who are about 150
yards up the road from Flitwick Motorcycles

Daytona all-weather boots (Nonstops? can't remember ...) are very good
(I've got a pair in the loft), and you'd get those at GLF, which about
300 metres from FM's front door, IIRC.
Warm and dry boots. Very nice. Plus you get the Daytona build quality,
which is nice.

At a guess, Daytona www.daytona.de
It's the only make of boot I've been happy with.

Don't know if it was mine, but I bought my boots from FM about 3 years ago,
they haven't leaked since (gore-tex inner sock), armoured shin & ankles, plain
black, so I can wear them at work, and cost me about £110 at the time.
GSB is the only brand/logo I can now see on the shin armour panel - every
other label has gone the way of most things exposed to my feet for any length
of time.

I like my Daytonas. You can tell, because I actually wear them,
something I rarely did with my other boots. I rather like the fact I
still having a working foot, something I doubt I would still have
without the boots [1].

I got mine from there, some spic cunt sold them to me.

It did.
[1] This just me saying that this is what happened in my case, and
in no way saying that everyone should wear boots, or implying that
they will suffer injury if they don't. Still wear trainers quite
often on the bike.
