Biker down on Saturday during the winds. Middleton St. George, Teesside.

Riding home from work after night shift, chances were millions to one, poor
guy got crushed by a falling tree. Serious injuries but still with us.

Get well soon friend.

Completely aware of the african swallows carrying the coconut python sketch
(holy grail?) but despite googling, brain aching, and listening to the
Monty Python - Final Rip Off CD's last night, still can't place the 306b...

<Sigh>

There's two basic laws that apply to usenet:

306a : In the US, any sufficiently long thread will eventually discuss
gun control
306b : In the UK, any sufficiently long thread will eventually quote
Monty Python.

It never has. It has always been one of those things that is part of
the learning process that ends with you being a ukrmer.

Of course, in the Good Old Days before we sent the merkins to Coventry,
there was a regular exchanges between us and reeky and it was possible
for newbies to work it out for themselves.

The choice then is simple. Either you include it in the ffaq or we
allow reeky to establish normal relations again.

**** off with that, and all.

Let the newbies work it out for themselves, like everyone else had to.

Should've bought a lottery ticket then. Chances of winning the lottery AND
getting hit by a falling tree have got to be very remote, but he'd have got
good odd's at the bookies on the pair coming off, then think what his quid
would have netted him.... *Honestly* I don't understand the non gambling
public of today!

Oh, & GWS.
