View Full Version : TOG valuation, please

I have a drawerful of approximately 50 [predominantly] white handkerchiefs,
some of them inherited from my late father. Most of the Egyptian cotton
ones have admittedly been laundered, but others - notably 17 of the fine
linen ones- remain unused. There are also a number of silk ones, but these
are mostly coloured. From my late father-in-law I have about 20 more jolly
spotted oversize hankies, also well laundered, which he used, flamboyantly
but decorously, in pursuit of his snuff-taking habit. As an acclaimed
expert on the subject, please could you give me an outline valuation, before
I bung them on Ebay.
"... good aerodynamic 'float' for the best possible display effect." Good
grief. What's the score in the fraternal letters contest now?

You'd probably get more for them if you cut them up and sold them as spares.
