Key hole by gear shift

On the Honda CSV tht I have just bought there is a key hole in the plastic surround to the steering column just to the left but on top of it. It is very near the Auto gear shift lever. Any ideas what this is for please?

It has the icon of a key, but the words are in Japanese characters.

Yes its for releasing the gear lever out of park, in case of a flat battery. so the car can be pushed.
