We had the same problem with one of theese people. We were selling a car worth £11000.00 and some guy e-mailed saying that he would send a cheque for £15000.00!!!! and if we could send the difference. We emailed back asking questions and never got a straight reply.
In the end we sent a email saying we would agree to this but the cheque would have to clear first and no money wiould be sent untill the cheque had cleared.
Of course we never heard back from him!!! :)
