I have an Astra 1.4 single point fuel injection (1991). It's fine when cold or warmish, but when the engine is at normal operating temperature the idle is sometimes erratic ie speeding up and slowing down. This makes the car jerky on the overrun. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it might be?
I've cleaned out the stepper motor valve and it's no better. The car is also "flat" when you give it full throttle at about 80mph; like it's running lean. The plugs are white. Can you fiddle with the mixture on these?
