Help - Sierra cvh

Anyone help. I have a 1989 sierra lx 1.8 cvh. I recently changed the inlet manifold gasket but now when i start up up engine stays at 1200 revs. Could i have connected any hoses or plugs wrongly?

check your hoses and the stepper..
