Hi all,
Just wondering...I recently bought an Audi Coupe 2.0 H plate car, and there is a (very quiet) rattling noise coming from the Cam cover.
After long suffering from my 2 ltr Capri a wee while back, I remember that the Cam/or followers (OHC Pinto engine) made a very simliar sound due to old age and wear and tear.
Just wondering - is this a similar problem with these motors, and would repacing the cam and folowers resolve the issue.
The car has run 107 thousand, so I would have imagined it to be expected lol.
Oh one more thing - does anyone know if this vehicle has an electronic fuel pump - because there is a bit of noise coming from the right hand side of the boot which sounds suspiciously like the fuel pump, but I cant find in the Haynes manual wether I have a mechanical or electronic pump?!
