Yeh I've tried confused and it was never really that good for me. I've found diamond to be quite good, and definitely privilege too.
I found a web site with lots of info on woman drivers insurance but ontop of that there is lots of info on getting good quotes on insurance in general.

From my experience the rates differences between the various insurance
companies are relatively small for the private car owner.
On the other hand if you have the option to join a big car pool of corporate rates of a relative of yours or a friend, then you might find a real good deal. :)
You can try at: http://www.affordable-premium-car-insurance.com/

if you went to the insurance company direct you could get a cheaper quote because confused.com and all these brokers have there own fee on top.

I tried that and they were both the same. I ended up going direct to www.swiftcover.com I guess it depends on the insurance company?

Hey guys,
My friend involved in an accident in which a truck driver hit my friend's old car. As we know that vehicle's age is a major consideration, old vehicles have to pay a higher premium than new ones. But as he doesn't have any comprehensive insurance on his car, he cannot claim the insurance properly and has to put a dent on his wallet. As we never know who will be behind the wheel. So I decided that before buying auto insurance, I started to do a little bit of research for the proposals offered by various companies. Different companies offer a wide range of quotes for the insurance of vehicles. At this scenario I came across an extremely interesting site on auto insurance which offers affordable car insurance with various types of other auto insurance coverage’s. Their site is a little bit weird, but it sure is a good insurance. At least, that’s my experience.
I hope this can help you find the right solution you are looking for.

PLEASE DON'T INSURE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
This company treated me so badly I couldn't believe it. I initially set up insurance for my car with this company on November 1st, costing £427.38. After recapping the details of the cover after the money had been taken out of my account, I realised that it didn't suit my needs. I realise I am partly to blame for this but I was told that it would not be a problem at all to cancel the whole thing and I would have the money back in my account in 3-5 days - try 50 days later!! Was only on the 21st December that I actually received this large sum of money back into my account! This was after I'd threatened them with legal action and got the financial ombudsman involved. I had to spend £15 on calls and god knows how long on hold - even then, the customer services staff I talked to didn't seem to know what was going on, who was dealing with it and on one occaision the person I spoke to was incredibly blunt and didn't once apologise for this huge inconvenience! It was only when very senior staff were involved was I actually given the money back. All in all, I feel this shows that their financial department is a mess and personally, dealing with Quinn Direct was a really horrible experience.

I had tried all the big boys for a cheap quote and none of them could help me get a really cheap car quote. My mate found a great little blog that had helped him get a cheap car quote -
