Ford escort cat problem

My cat converter has been blown on my escort (so i have been told) but have also been told its not running on all four cylinders. Any advice or general help to why its not runnin on all four would much be appreciated.

if your car is not running on 4 this is what will have destroyed your cat as unburnt fuel will have gone into it you need to check plugs and leads first just stick a new set of plugs in for the price you might aswel and sort out the misfire before you replace the cat :D
