could anyone help with any of these things for my mk5 L reg escort L Java 1.6injection 16v

1) speedo not workin
2) lights behind the heater and fan dials dont work. how to get to them???
3) interior light not responding to open doors

1 check speedo cable see if its snapped
2 this sounds like a connection problem on the headlights switch
3 check bulb and check fuses anything else like the radio gone off :D

the radio isnt coming on aswell what does that mean???

check the fuse i think they on the same one

i checked tha manual and the fuse for the radio does the clock and the interior light aswell. and they all work fine. i dont know why my radio just wont power on. the lights that light the radio buttons work but the actual radio wont turn on. i disconnected the battery does that have anything to do with it and put a new one in

it might need the code putting in but it shouldnt stop the interior light coming on give the fuse a wiggle and make sure the connections are there ive seen these pushed in by strong mechanics :D

try new speedo transducer in g/box

fuse or faulty switch on a pillar when u open door
pull off heater knobs with pliers will reveal screws and u have to take out screws by dash clocks then the whole thing is on clips,a little tug should bring it off,then u can see the bulbs
