Hi - we have just bought a Lunar Eclipse 1995 caravan and on our first day out we cannot get the hot water to work - the pump is heating up but no waster is coming out of the hot tap either hot or cold. We can get water through the cold tap, but not the hot???? can anyone help

You don't say if the pump is running when the tap is turned on I presume it is. Have you replaced the crystal water filter? All so on the end of the faucet or tap there is a fine mesh filter that screws off. Its probably blocked, remove it & clean it. Best of luck

Hi Emma.
Sorry for delay as I have just read your question.Have you checked the one way valve. Its situated on RHS of the boiler on the outlet pipe. They are difficult to access and may involve removing the whole unit.Due to its age I would suggest buying a replacememt before starting,Its possibly brittle and fragile.Often the cause of leaks. They are easily obtainable and cheap.Allow about 4 hours.
Hope this helps.

There's a switch in the tap, unscrew the tap to access it, it will be under the tap unit, with wires going into it. When the tap is open the switch should be made to tell the pump to come in. If it's not making the water won't come through (faulty switch). If it's not that and the pump is running, check all the inside of the caravan to make sure all the hoses are connected, often the jubilee clips can come off and the water just leaks into the caravan causing more problems. Also check the clips are holding the hose on tight to the pump as these can come off once the pump is inserted into the water barrel. Hope this helps.
