Hi all
Did a run from Gloucestershire to Cornwall over the weekend, which was
great apart from the fuel consumption...26.8mpg!
Where's the other 14+ mpg gone?
A few weeks ago the dealer replaced the air flow meter, which they said
would fix the problem...it obviously hasn't. Is there anything else
they should be looking at?
The car has done 41k miles and is approaching 3.5 years old.
Looking forward to your reponses.
Cheers

Even your normal fuelconsumption is rather high unless you always drive
in the city. Either it's your right foot (or left in the UK) or there is
something very wrong with your car.

In case you are planning a trip to the UK and hiring a car the pedals
are in the same order be it left or right hand drive!

Thanks for the tip :-))
I forgot the "?" after UK.

Wherever you drive a car the left foot is the brake.
Even in a right hand-drive car :-)
If you can make the car go faster by pushing the left pedal in a UK
car then there is something VERY wrong <LOL>

Huh? I've driven in 20+ countries, and never yet used the left foot for
the brake. Well not the normal brake - I've once driven a vehicle with a
foot-operated parking brake.

Well, I can without there being anything wrong at all. Heading downhill
in low gear - kick the clutch out and it goes faster. ;-P
