Stephen,

I haven't been to the site in question but have been holidaying in Dorset
for many years, usually based around Poole as relatives there. We normally
use Merley Court Touring Park, near Wimborne, but the site you are looking
at looks ok on the website.

As for local attractions, there are so many it would take ages to recall
them all! If you have children, the beach at Weymouth is OK and there is
Monkey World not too far away for a good day out. If you are prepared to
drive a bit then you can easily get to Swanage and Studland where there are
more superb beaches and walks. Poole and Bournemouth are just a few miles
further on. Inland, Longleat is worth the trip and isn't really too far. In
short, you are fairly well placed for attractions.

Another site worth considering is the CC site at Hunters Moon in Wareham
forest. There is another site near to that one but I would not recommend it
personally (can't remember the name though!!).

Hope this is of help.

Reg
