I pulled an old Avondale Van for two years with a 1.9 Megan Diesel.
[S reg] and can testify to its superb abilities. As a bog standard
car it is ****e as a tug it is great.
I now tug with a VTEC Honda 1.6 Petrol. which is far superior to the
Ford wannabe however by comparisson to the Megane 1.9 I'd rather have
the French **** for towing.
Take yer choice - if you intend doing more miles solo then take the
Ford. More Miles tugging then take the Megane.
