Interested in what everyone thinks about zero percent finance....

I have a feeling that this is impossible. Surely no company loans money for nothing? What you might gain with 0% you lose in other ways - not getting as much for your part-ex, or the dealer already adding on to the price of the car they are wanting to sell you, or the dealer not giving as much discount on the deal that they might have done (if pushed!) otherwise?

Some say, in the case of car finance, that it can be "subsidised" by the car manufacturer... eh? So the manufacturer does what... pays the interest on your loan? So they "give away" £thousands just so you and I can borrow money with no interest? Surely, this must be offset by something... something that they get from you/me?

I'm confused...!
