Speakers in Golf Mk3 1997

Hello all

I am trying to replace the dashboard speakers, but have come across 4 wires to each speaker when only 2 were expected.

How should I wire up the new replacement speakers that only have the normal 2 connections?

The front door speakers run through the dash speakers. just connect the speakers as usual then continue the wire to the front doors. because the standard speakers are only tweeters it doesn't affect wiring them up in series, but you might want to run seperate wires if you're putting more powerful speakers in, depends on the power output of your stereo.
