Exhaust and Insurance.

I've got a Citroen saxo, and a friend has offered to give me an exhaust for next to nothing, i think it's a 3 inch exhaust? maybe smaller, i can't remember. But what i'm curious about is would i have to report that kind of a change to the insurance? and would that boost my insurance more than if i didn't have it changed?

yeh you must tell them everything you do, it will add a little but it depends on lots of things, like age etc. If you don't tell em, and something happens god forbid you wont get paid.

Probably add about 10% more or less i think.
