bmw engines

Thinking of buying a bmw 3 series. To get a bargain i can get one with 90000 miles on the clock cheap.

Heard bmw engines go forever. But to be sure i was wondering if a cam belt change was to be done

1) Would it go for ages
2) Would it be expensive, and does anyone know how much


Any other faults i should know about on the bmw 3 series

hi mate there is no cam belt as thay are chain drivern so no worries there but be carfull of the heads as thay have a habit of cracking if not looked after and is expensive
