Anyone know what the alloy was ? Was it really aluminium, or was it
(like Landies) Birmabright ? Just a few percent of magnesium makes
it much stiffer and dent-resistant, but doesn't start the sort of
corrosion problems that bedevilled the Elektron parts used in Lotuses.
There used to be a good Bristol restorer in Warminster (late '90s) -
Is he still there ?
