I have a 1956 TR3 which is very stubborn to start in the winter and idles uncomfortably for several miles until completely warm. The car has been regularly serviced over the 3 years I have owned it by a garage I trust, and has had new plugs, points, condenser, coil, leads etc, but this doesn’t seem to improve matters. The summer brings a complete transformation with the car always starting first time from cold and running happily all day. Any suggestions how I could improve the idling?
