I traded my little Peugeot 106 for a low mileage 1.2 Micra S in February. My wife thought it was funky!! I am very disappointed with it for the following reasons.
Fuel economy is rubbish for a 1.2 engine. The best I can get out of it is aorund 39 / 40 mpg, no matter how it is driven.
It is 2 door and the long windows in the doors rattle in a creaky sort of way unless they are fully up or fully down. The local dealers are aware of this and sat that Nissan know of it but have no permanent fix for it. They tried twiddling with the dirvers door window - I think trying to offset it so that it wouldnt rattle, but that didnt work.
Copied CDs in the CD player skip. Nissan do not accept responsibility for this, saying it will only be regarded as fault if it skips with the original discs. I dont carry originals in the car as they are tempting for thieves.
I would say if anyone can suggest how I can get the window rattle / creak fixed (apart from taking the windows out!!) I would be a lot happier, but would also be interested to know of others opinions on fuel economy.
Even some way of contacting Nissan Customer Care UK would be helpful. I have looked at the Nissan website but don't see any direct way of contacting the company. Maybe they don't want to hear from me!!!!!
