Hi all
Does anyone know of any good people who can make an exhaust for a Veteran car
to pattern. Would prefer Swindon/Bristol area or 100 mile surround.
An almighty backfire in Germany blew the back of the silencer to bits. A few
Germans dived under their Mercedes wondering what was going on.
TIA

Try "Bell Exhausts" on 01793 433334
They've sorted things for me in the past that have
involved bending stainless-steel pipework - they even
stayed open late one Saturday to give me time to get
to them from Oxford after an unscheduled coming-together
between exhaust and speedbump.

Well if it blew the silencer to bits and not the air cleaner it wasn't a
back fire, rather un burnt fuel detonation in the exhaust or a blocked
exhaust.
