My 2000 Golf 1.6 se auto lumps into 3rd gear and will not select 4th gear. It shows that it's doing about 10 mpg even when driven carefully. When it's warm it doesn't want to go forward when in D without a lot of revs. Reverse is fine. Any ideas? I'm hoping it's something simple. Regards.
