Gonna be tricky IMO - how many NCB you got from being on your own insurance? 3-4yrs plus could make a big difference.

Have you tried all the comparison sites? confused, moneysupermarket etc?

I am in a similar situation.. I am 20 years old with 3yrs NCB. I am looking to buy a Mitsibushi FTO but am unable to find a company willing to insure me.

I know it is a high risk, an under 25 driving a high performance car but there must be someone out there willing to accept a certain amount.

I just don't know where to turn...

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Try using a insurance comparison site like confused or money supermarket.

Trust me though if you get any good results back phone the company up and get a quote.

Do not mention the price you got until you here what they offer over the phone.

I insurance on me 2K8 Pug 207 GTI came in at £920 fully comp from confused, i phone them up and they quoted like £1500 so i told them about the quote from confused. The bloke was stumped and confirmed everything with me and had to give me the cheaper quote. Muppet

    Check it out.

    What a combination!

As jazzfingers says: do your research online, get prices and then phone around to get cheaper quotes. Good luck.

One important question is "Is your car imported?" If the answer is yes, most of the online quote systems will refuse to give a price and you'll be forced to phone around for the best price.
