I always think shared interiors are a bit of a cop out. I was similarly
disappointed with the GT dash being the same as the 147. Not that I
dislike the 147 interior but I would just like it to have its own identity.
It feels like you have been robbed when you step into a new model at the
launch do and it looks the same inside as the existing models in the
showroom. Like an opportunity to see some all new Alfa styling has been
taken away.
Whilst Karl-Heinz may be trying to woo A4 and 3 Series drivers into the
159, the Brera/Spider should retain its Italian sports car identity and
not be viewed as a 159 derivative but a model that differentiates from
the mainstream saloon IMHO
All seems a little too efficient for the Alfisti!
Cheers
Tony
