| General comments: |
Say what you want about the AMC Gremlin but Iv owned three of them and they all ran great. You could teach a kindergarden student how to keep one running. So if you think you got a lemon, look in the mirror cause if you can't make a gremlin run right you should not be driving a car. All three of my engines pured like a kitten and twice in -20 degree weather I pumped the gas twice and took off. The engines are as thick as a tank and indestructable. Here is the best thing about them. If a Gremlin don't start there can only be a couple of reasons why and there all really cheap to fix. Plus you do not have to worry about taking it to a Dealership where 99% of them will lie and jack up the price. Thats not including the honest ones that will charge you 86$ just to hook it up to see whats wrong with it. Then theres the cost of the new computer chip, labor, etc. 5,000$ later you get your car back when you could of bought 5 nice gremlins for that price. These cars will run for ever, people will come up and talk to you at gas stations all the time, and its just plain fun to drive them. Yea my Gremlin will be around long after you take your car to the Junk Yard. P.S. I must note that my Gremlin is in Mint Condition, Yellow with Mag wheels, and I'm sure thats why alot of people take note of it. So for a 1,000 dollars I stole a piece of history and get as much attention as those guys who put 14,000$ into theirs. Yea, I'll take it! |
