| General comments: |
Most obviously not used as a daily car, but is an absolute blast at the weekend. With 300 HP, power is almost limitless and it is great fun. It never fails to turn heads - I regularly get people waving at me. Mine is bright red which adds to the appeal over the more common dark blue or grey examples.
The major drawback is difficulty in getting it serviced in Ireland, but I can live with that as I can relatively easily take it to a couple of specialists in the UK for a yearly checkup.
It is actually quite reliable. I don't know that much about cars, and I have managed to keep it on the road with little difficulty for 18 months or so. You need to be able to do a bit of electrical work on these, as Electical stuff seems to go wrong quite regularly.
I once spent 24 hours in this car driving it home from the UK and actually slept in it. It was so comfortable that there wasn't a bother on me after the experience. No stiffness or backache which is really quite impressive. |
