About this Rover - Sterling 825 |
This is a rare opportunity to purchase one of the last ever registered Rover Sterling V6 825's in the UK. A car that has been on show at Silverstone. I have been using it for chauffeuring hence the high mileage (mostly motorway), I bought it last April with just 60,000 on the clock. Because of the chauffeuring the car has been valeted every week, it has also had no expense spared on it, having had the cam belts changed early on 80,000 miles (this was a £400 job as there are 3 cam belts), it's had a whole new set of brake discs and pads recently and the struts at the rear replaced also. I have always bought original or better parts for this car, this means that since I've owned this car over £2000 has been spent on it. The bodywork is very good.
The interior is made up of grey leather and a walnut dash. It has a huge boot. The car has an auto gearbox which has a sports mode, this enables you to redline the car if you need to for fast overtaking or joining a motorway. It also has snow mode which means whilst everyone else is stuck indoors during a bad winter you can roll out into your car and drive to the shops.
The car is clean and tidy inside, almost new looking, it has full electrics including seats, mirrors, windows, sunroof and heated seats. You will enjoy lazy motorway driving with the cruise control and the incredible speed and acceleration from this V6 2.5 litre engine.
I have fitted a K&N panel filter, these are the same as the normal air filters but give you extra power and economy and they also don't need to ever be replaced just cleaned.
