Well the time has come to sell my lovely 400 Katana. Its a 1992 but has had a suzuki racing colours paint job. Photos are available on request.
The bike has done 42,000 kms and comes with 8 months MOT and 12 months Tax. It has had the carbs rebuilt and ultrasonically cleaned, and new jets installed. The engine had the valve clearances done and then carbs balanced.
Two years ago I rebuilt the front suspension with new seals and refreshed the oil and went to 15w oil. I also installed pre load adjustable caps so you can alter the preload. These can be removed and returned to the original setup. The rear shocks were rebuilt badly but the rebuilt again by steve jordan motorcycles. The brakes, front and rear, were rebuilt with original suzuki seals and new ebc HH pads. All the lines were replaced by with HEL Braided lines specially made for the katana.
It had a recent replacement chain and sprockets with Afam x ring gold chain and afam sprockets. The rear sprocket is the 49 tooth rf400 one. The bike is also fitted with a chaintec electronic chain oiler, which I can remove if you don't want it.
The bike has had both tyres replaced with BT45's when the MOT was done and recent oil and filter change.
The reason the bike is for sale as I've ended up with four bikes and this one is not getting used enough so decided that someone else should enjoy it rather than let it sit in the garage.
